The lesson for today, kids? Don't leave the digital camera lying around the house.

Arashi-Kishu: Yeah, I thought this'd get a reaction from a CSI fan. :)

As a Pikachu-fan's father (my daughter has, I think, 5 of them, including a giant one - plus I love Pickachu myself), I found this strip sublime :)

Made my day, this one. :)

Dean, Elbert: I've been wanting to do something like this for about two years now, ever since I first came across the Fuzzy Knights webcomic. :)

Hehe I don't know, I thought the strip was pretty profound. ;-)

Paeng: Thanks. :)

Banzai Cat: Now that you mention it, it probably is. :)

Argh! As a pikachu fan, I resent that he's been subjected to a lowly spot as a punchline filler...

Great entrance though. ;)

Ida, Darkhalf: I can't believe that this post is still getting comments over a year after its conception... I should put together a sequel. :)

I just came across this purely by chance. My kids have been Pokemon fans for some time now, and when they talk with their friends about the show I feel like it's way over my head. My eldest goes "Pika!" quite often for no reason at all, interrupting any regular ongoing conversation. Drives her Mom crazy. So this one really made me chuckle.

pgenrestories: I get the feeling that that has probably become the sole purpose of the expression "Pika!" in the first place. It exists to interrupt conversations, replace punchlines, and generally remind us of the legacy of a little yellow 'pocket monster'. :)
