For everyone who went to the blogging summit, especially Dean Alfar:
Ang sarap ng suman sa latik! What say you, Dean?
For all you non-Filipinos out there, suman latik is a sticky-rice delicacy around here. If you ever decide to drop by, make sure you put it on your list of things to try out, along with sisig and kare-kare.
The suman latik picture was graciously provided by the Sassy Lawyer herself. If you haven't checked out her blog yet, then you've obviously been living in a cave for the last couple of years. :)

All this food talk sounds absolutely yummy...
*drools*
It's a conspiracy, I tell you! :D LOL
Okay, I missed Dean Alfar's speech... what does he have to do with suman latik? I'd like to be able to laugh with you... ;-P
Ma'am Connie: Dean kept on using suman sa latik as an example of blog entries.
He'd say something like "This is an entry. 'Ang sarap ng suman!' But what about it? What makes it good? How about bibingka for a change?"
No amount of description can make the joke funny, though. It was simply a "you had to be there" moment. :)
Note the teeny bit of effort I used to prevent the entry from being merely an "ang sarap ng suman sa latik" mention. Appreciate me. :)
Yeah, Sean. It's beyond the "ang sarap ng suman" post! Heheheh :D
Note that I didn't even try to add beyond the picture, to underscore the point of Dean's example. Lol.
Ay grabe!!!!!!! Ang sarap niyan!
